Dr. B. K. Sood is a medical graduate from Shimla Medical College, Himachal Pradesh. After having worked in various specialities in India and abroad, he decided to settle down in his family medical practice in 1985 along with his wife Dr. Rekha Sood.

In his career of 42 years, he has treated many elderly people, devoted a substantial part of his time looking after elderly patients who face multiple health problems, and feel helpless.

His dedication and concern for the citizens of the country and specially the senior citizens motivated him to join hands with likeminded people, work towards the betterment of the health of senior citizens, and help them lead a healthier life.

Senior Citizen SPARSH Foundation offered him an opportunity to lend a helping hand to our growing elderly population.
