After 30 illustrious years of successful corporate life as leader of various global MNCs, Gautam Ghosh is now engaged in social sector as Co-Promoter & Secretary General of Senior Citizen SPARSH Foundation.

On the professional front, he spearheads SandBox India Inc, an India initiative for Incubating Global Higher Education and ICT service providers/start-ups through strong alliances, market entry advisory and business plan validation. He is also on the Advisory Board of various organisations in India .

His last assignment was as Regional Director & Head Operations of MMD Philips, (JV between Philips, Netherlands and USD13 billion TPV group) for India, SAARC, Middle East, Africa & Central Asia Region. Ghosh was responsible for spearheading their business interest in the region by providing strategic business direction to ensure continuous and dynamic growth for the brand. He was passionate about reinforcing the brand recall of the Philips Monitors/TV, Digital Signage in the Region. Earlier, as the Head of India operations of ViewSonic Corp, USA, Ghosh was responsible for the company’s formation & business interest in India and had performed a leadership role to accelerate the growth of the brand to the top 2 position.

Gautam evolved himself as a veteran in setting up of green field operations of ICT companies both nationally as well as internationally. He is also credited with setting up operations of ZEBRA Technologies Corp in India, a US based global leader in Bar Code solution and has also led it as their first Country Manager for the Indian Region. He has also headed the Marketing operations of ACi (Asia) Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Allied Computer Plc UK (a leading IT Hardware & Laptop Computer Manufacturing company in UK since 1992).

Gautam started his career as a Sales Manager with Godrej and Boyce Mfg. Co.Ltd., the largest consumer durables, office automation and industrial product manufacturing company of India and later moved on to occupy top positions in companies like KODAK, TechNova-Agfa etc. He completed his Masters in Business Management and has participated in various Management Development Programs with IIM, Lucknow, Marketing Management in Micro, Small & Medium Scale Enterprise with Government of India and several institutes internationally.
